Placefiles

These are placefile(s) which can be used by some radar aplications to display additional data on a map. These are generally generated on my webserver.

Click links below to copy URL to add to Supercell WX or other weather application. URL paramaters can be added to some placefiles to modify them.

  Daily surface front predictions by the Weather Prediction Center
• Coded Surface Frontal Locations
  Surface fronts updated every 3 hours by the Weather Prediction Center
  • weight(integer)[2]: set the thickness of the front lines
  • font_size(integer)[24]: set the size of the pressure highs/lows
  • threshold(integer)[-200]: set the threshold

  BETA: Custom fronts based on RTMA-RU data updated every 15 minutes
